EU Program is a full scholarship established by MOE for candidates from EU member countries.

I Supporting Categories, Duration and Instruction Language

This program supports undergraduate students, former pupils, general scholars and senior scholars.

  1. Language Instruction

Undergraduate scholarship recipients must sign up for Chinese-trained credit courses. Graduate and non-degree scholarship students can sign up for either china-trained program or even the British-trained program if relevant. II Scholarship Coverage

III Where and When to Apply

Where to Apply

You should apply to the Office for Education and Culture, Mission of P. R. China to the European Union.

When to Apply

You have to apply between early The month of january and early April. Please consult work for Education and Culture, Mission of P. R. China towards the Eu (known as the EU office) for that specific deadline of every year.

IV Eligibility

  1. Applicants should be a citizen of the EU member country, and become in good condition.

    The needs for applicants’ degree and age are that applicants must:

    be considered a senior high school graduate younger than 25 when trying to get the undergraduate programs

    be considered a bachelor’s degree holder underneath the age of35 when trying to get the master’s programs

    be considered a master’s degree holder younger than 40 when trying to get the doctorate programs

    be younger than 45 and also have a senior high school diploma (or greater) when trying to get the overall scholar programs

    be a master’s degree holder or an associate professor (or above) under the age of 50 when applying for the senior scholar programs.


V Application Procedure

Step OneAffect the EU office for CGS chance.

Step Two – Affect your target college for that Pre-admission Letter once suggested through the dispatching government bodies being an qualified candidate (you will get an Award Letter for CGS Candidate).

Step Three – Complete the internet application procedure at CSC Online Application System for Worldwide Students (Visithttp://www.csc.edu.cn/laihua or http://www.campuschina.org

and click on “Application Online” to sign in), submit online the finished Form for Chinese Government Scholarship and print a printed. Please consult the EU office for Instructions of CSC Online Application System for Worldwide Students and Agency Number.

Step Four – Submit all of your application documents towards the EU office prior to the deadline.


Only applying suggested candidates in the EU office is going to be considered. Candidates holding the Pre-admission Letter is going to be put into the host college individuals with no Pre-admission Letter should accept CSC’s keeping college.


VI Application Documents(in duplicate)

  7. This should be a minimum of 200 words for undergraduate students, 500 words for non-degree students, and 800 words for graduate students.

  1. Two Recommendation Letters (designed in Chinese or British)

  2. Applicants for that graduate programs or even the senior scholar programs must submit two recommendation letters signed with a professor or perhaps an affiliate professor.

  3. A CD of your works (only needed for arts students)

  4. Applicants for music research is requested to submit a CD that belongs to them musical works. Applicants for that fine arts programs must submit a CD that belongs to them works including two sketches, two color works of art and 2 other works.

  5. Valid documents of the legal guardians in China (only needed for applicants younger than 18

VII Placement & Scholarship Confirmation

  1. Application documents of suggested candidates in the EU office is going to be considered by CSC for eligibility and qualification. Ineligible or incomplete applications won’t be considered

  2. Qualified applications will be delivered to universities for placement. According to various factors, like the different scholarship funding needs of each and every country, the host university’s teaching capacity, study length and applicants’ criteria, CSC reserves the authority to make necessary adjustments/changes towards the candidate’s host college, field of study, supporting groups and time period of scholarship. Applications enclosed using the Pre-admission Letter will be delivered to the universities who issued that Letter for placement confirmation

    3 After placement confirmation by Chinese universities, scholarship recipients can get Chinese government scholarships to review in China with approval by CSC. Each scholarship recipient is going to be granted with a maximum of one scholarship.

  1. CSC compares the placement results, approves this list of Scholarship Recipients and transmits the admission documents to get results for Education and Culture, Mission of P.R.China for the Eu before summer time 31st. Work with Education and Culture, Mission of P.R.China for the Eu is going to be delivering the admission documents (Report on Scholarship Recipients, Admission Letter and Visa Form for Study in China (JW201)) for the scholarship recipients.

  2. Scholarship recipients shall not change their host college, field of study, or length of study unless of course obviously they offer within the grant.

  3. Scholarship will not be reserved if scholarship recipient cannot register before the registration deadline.
